		<description>Thanks for your response. I was referencing a return to a more user-centered design, as opposed to technology-based design. But let me expand on that thought. Since any design act can potentially lead to innovations, design has the potential capacity to contribute and/or amplify social innovation. In order to investigate on this matter we recently invited, among other renowned guests, Ezio Manzini founder of DESIS-international, an academic network on design for social innovation and sustainability.

Additionally, CCSMFA is dedicating one semester to a Community Project. This year the project is dedicated to Detroit.
